Sony today unveiled the WF-C700N wireless earbuds, which are the successor to the WF-C500, the company’s most affordable pair of wireless earbuds.
While the latter offered great audio quality for its asking price, it missed out on several features like Active Noise Cancellation and Multipoint connection. But the newly launched earbuds bring both features and even come with an Ambient Sound Mode that can help you listen to others even when listening to music.
The WF-C700N also supports Adaptive Sound Control which can automatically adjust the sound settings depending on your location and what you are doing. It works by recognizing the locations you often visit like office, gym and home and switches the sound modes accordingly. Sony has also integrated its wind noise reduction technology which helps when talking to someone on a windy day.

As for the battery, the WF-C700N offer up to 15 hours of battery life and an additional 10+10 hours of charging with the carrying case. Coming to audio, the earbuds come with 5mm drivers and support Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology which can upscale the quality.
The newly launched earbuds offer IPX4 water resistance and Multipoint Connection that enables users to seamlessly switch audio between two devices. The Sony WF-C700N will be available for purchase from Sony Center, Sony Exclusive stores, ShopatSC website, major electronic stores and e-commerce websites from July 15. Available in four colours – white, black, lavender and sage green and are priced at Rs 8,990.
