Rumour has it that the OnePlus could opt for a ceramic back for its upcoming R series phone, which, if true, will make it feel more premium than other devices in the price bracket. Also, unlike its predecessor, the OnePlus seems to have moved the huge circular camera island to the right centre.

Coming to hardware specifications, the tipster also hinted that the OnePlus 13R will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and pack a 6,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. It will have a flat 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and offer up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

On the camera front, the device is likely to sport a 50MP primary camera accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro or depth sensor. The OnePlus 13R will launch as the OnePlus Ace 5 in China in December and is expected to arrive in India sometime in January 2025. It will cost around Rs 45,000.
