On Monday, OnePlus officially confirmed that the global launch of its latest flagship — the OnePlus 13, which was recently unveiled in China, will take place in January 2025. The company has also confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will come in three different shades — Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn, and it is also the first smartphone from the company with an IP68 and IP69 water and dust-resistant rating.
According to the company, “OnePlus 13 combines cutting-edge innovation, fast and smooth performance, and AI with an elegant, showstopping design,” which is also the first OnePlus smartphone to feature a back panel made out of micro-fibre vegan leather and is said to be “designed to strike a perfect balance between a luxurious hand-feel and scratch and scuff resistance”.

Considering the specifications of the Chinese variant, the OnePlus 13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is also one of the first Android smartphones to offer up to a whopping 24 GB of RAM, which could be limited to around 16 GB in India and other international markets.
On top of that, the OnePlus 13 is also one of the first smartphones to offer a Carbon Silicon anode battery with an energy-storing capacity of 6,000 mAh with support for 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Unlike the previous iterations of OnePlus flagship phones with a curved display, the OnePlus 13 will have an almost flat screen with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and this will also be the first OnePlus smartphone to include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus has already confirmed that the 13 variant will ship with Android 15-based OxygenOS, which will be lighter and more feature-rich than OxygenOS 14, and the smartphone will continue to feature a triple-camera setup with Hasselblad tuning.
In China, the base variant of the OnePlus 13 with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage starts at CNY 4,499 (approx Rs 53,000), and we can expect the same to cost around Rs 60,000 in India.
