Apple’s next iPhone SE might arrive as early as today, accompanied by the PowerBeats Pro 2, a fitness-centric pair of wireless earbuds, suggests a report by Bloomberg. Unlike the numbered iPhone series, which follows an annual launch cycle, Apple’s SE series is updated once every two years, and the upcoming iPhone SE 4 is likely to deliver a massive upgrade in almost every possible way.
Apple could introduce the iPhone SE 4 with a pre-recorded video explaining its various features and capabilities. The device is expected to be available for pre-order starting today, with sales likely to commence in a week’s time. Bloomberg also suggests that there will be no launch event; instead, the product will be introduced via an update to Apple’s website along with a press release.
Considering that the iPhone SE 3 is currently unavailable for purchase on Apple’s official website, it is evident that the iPhone SE 4’s launch is imminent.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to resemble the iPhone 14 but with some modern amenities, including a USB-C port and an Action Button. However, unlike the iPhone 14, which features a dual-camera setup at the back, the iPhone SE 4 will reportedly have a single 48 MP camera. It is said to pack a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a notch, identical to the iPhone 14, featuring an FHD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be as powerful as the iPhone 16, featuring the same flagship A18 chip, possibly paired with 8 GB of RAM and at least 128 GB of internal storage with support for Apple Intelligence. According to leaks, the base variant of the iPhone SE 4 might cost less than $500 or approximately Rs 50,000 in India, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a modern and future-proof iPhone at a lower price than the iPhone 16, Apple’s latest baseline smartphone.
Unlike the iPhone SE 4, the upcoming PowerBeats Pro 2 are likely to be Apple’s most expensive earbuds and could be the first pair to include features like real-time heart rate monitoring during workouts.
