Samsung Galaxy M35

The Galaxy M35 is a slightly watered-down of the Galaxy A35, which we reviewed last year. Powered by Samsung’s in-house developed Exynos 1380 chipset, which is good for day-to-day usage, the Galaxy M35 comes with a 6.6-inch FullHD 120Hz AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, which is usually found on premium phones.

Running on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box, Samsung has promised that the phone will get 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches. While the phone does not offer IP68 dust and water resistance, it makes up with the 6,000mAh battery that charges at 25W.

The back of the phone houses a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary shooter accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. The base variant of the phone that comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is currently selling on Amazon for Rs 14,999, but if you extend your budget by a bit, we recommend going with the 8GB RAM and 128GB version, which is priced at Rs 16,499.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus

Looking for a flagship phone that will easily last you years to come? The Galaxy S24 Plus (review) can be a good option if you are looking for a premium Samsung phone with AI features. Powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, the phone comes with a 6.7-inc 120Hz AMOLED screen that is bright both indoors as well as under direct sunlight.

While it may not have the bells and whistles the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has to offer, the chipset does offer flagship-like performance and does not lag no matter what you throw at it. You also get a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary camera accompanied by an 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto sensor, which is on par with the latest flagship devices.

Running on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14, Samsung has upped its software game, with the Galaxy S24 Plus slated to get 7 years of OS updates and security patches, which is on par with the Google Pixel 9 series. It has a 4,900mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, but the processor may be a letdown for gamers who want to play the latest titles at the highest available settings.

The base variant of the Galaxy S24 Plus, which comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is currently selling on Flipkart for Rs 59,999, which is the lowest since the phone’s launch. At this price, this is a steal deal.

Galaxy S23 Ultra

Looking for a phone that can do it all? The Galaxy S23 Ultra (review), which was launched around two years is still a solid choice. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is no longer the fastest phone, but the chipset can easily handle whatever you throw at it.

It has a large 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen that goes up to 1200 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both the front and back. As is the case with all recent Samsung flagship phones, you get IP68 dust and water resistance and Bluetooth enabled S-Pen.

The device comes with Android 13 out of the box, but Samsung has promised that it will offer updates until Android 17, which means you will get two more years of updates. The Galaxy S23 arguably has the best camera setup of any Samsung phone to date.

The back of the phone has four individual camera cutouts that house a 200MP primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, another 10MP periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that charges at 45W. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version of the phone is currently selling on Amazon for Rs 71,999.
